The Expat Survival Guide

The first move that I remember was in 1975 when my parents decided to move us from New York to Boston. I was 12 and I was not happy. I remember thinking that I would never like Boston and that New York would always be home. It took awhile, but over time I made friends and life was good. Even today, New York is in my heart but I call Boston home.

This lifestyle has its ups and downs but there are tricks to keeping it more up than down. Here, I’ll share with you the different things that I’ve learned over the years and I promise that if you listen to some of my advice, you will be setting yourself up for a great experience whether it be a short stint abroad or a lifestyle of expat living.
